ASSESSMENT CENTER INFORMATION

OFFICE HOURS:  ( Testing Hours are different)
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday:  8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Closed Friday, Saturday, Sunday.       
                                                                                                                                                                                              
TESTING HOURS:
Testing hours are not the same as office hours.

EXCEPTIONS TO HOURS:                           
Office closed Friday, July 3rd.  New summer hours begin 07/06/09.
  • Apply to De Anza by completing an online Admissions Application.
  • Know your De Anza 8 digit Student ID number. This number is assigned when you complete your application.
  • Select the tests you need to take (English, ESL, Math, Chemistry, Biology).
  • Read the sample questions for each test subject to determine which tests to take and what skills to review.
  • Testing is administered on drop-in basis. There are no appointments.
  • For Computerized English, ESL, Math, and Biology 40A tests, drop-in to SCS 143 anytime during the posted testing hours.
  • For Calculus, Chemistry 1A/ Biology 6A paper & pencil tests, report minimum 30 minutes prior to the published test time to posted location.
  • Bring a photo I.D. (student ID card, driver's license, passport...)
  • Bring several #2 pencils.
  • Students who feel that they have either a learning disability or physical disability which might adversely affect their test results should contact the Assessment Center for alternative testing options.
  • There are no fees for placement testing.
  • Plan to take the test a minimum 3 weeks before your registration date.
