About Me

"I've come to the frightening conclusion that I am the decisive element in the classroom. It is my personal approach that creates the climate. It is my daily mood that creates the weather. As a teacher, I possess a tremendous power to make a child's life miserable, or joyous. I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration." - Haim Ginott, Teacher, Author

Biography

I've taught middle school Language Arts, Math, and Science between 2007-present, and have enjoyed every minute of it!  I've also worked with adolescent kids through my coaching and high school teaching experience.  Meanwhile, I've been coaching volleyball for grades 6-12.  Currently, I'm assisting the women's volleyball team at De Anza College. I have a passion for teaching, mentoring and coaching.

I'm a big fan of teaching my students the course material; while relating it to real life scenarios. We go to school to make a bigger impact in our society, not simply to learn the course content.

Come experience my love of teaching in my child development classes offered here at De Anza College.
